Bob is a great representative for Grey Oaks, congratulations!

Congratulations to Bob Usher, Grey Oaks Country Club's Director of Instruction. Bob has been awarded the Jr. Golf Leader Award for the South Florida Section. This award recognizes PGA Professionals who are leaders in junior golf by providing opportunities and experiences for our youth to learn and play golf. Selection for this award is based on involvement in the promotion and development of junior golf at the club level and also within the community. Other qualifications for this award include overall image, service, leadership, integrity and acceptance by junior golfers as a person of outstanding character.

Bob is a mentor and life coach to the children. He makes learning golf fun and combines life lessons with his instruction. He conducts weekly junior golf clinics and holds Holiday camps where he combines golf, tennis and fitness. The summer camp programs consist of golf instruction and play in the morning and outdoor activities in the afternoon which could be kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding. Also in the summer months, Bob captains a team from Grey Oaks for the PGA Junior League.

Bob leads the children by example. He believes in living life the right way and being a role model for children. Teaching children good life skills such as compassion, cooperation, courage, honesty and respect is very fulfilling for Bob. Bob is a great representative for Grey Oaks, congratulations!
