Chesapeake Energy claims top natural gas and oil producing wells in Utica Shale

The latest Utica Shale gas production data released by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas Resources (ODNR) shows the Utica Shale Play has experienced rapid growth in both producing well count and oil and gas production. According to the data, as of December 31, 2012, 87 wells reported production.
