This Summer, De Hygienique (DH) adds another state-of-the-art cleaning technology – a new rug cleaning service – to their slew of cleaning solutions.

There’ll be no sticky residue that will be left behind unlike those cleaned using conventional methods

Besides the numerous eye catching, huge price slashing discount posters displayed on shopping malls along the whole of Orchard road that marks the beginning of Great Singapore Sale shopping season, another not-to-be-missed element that ushers in the mood is mid-year cleaning.

This year, De Hygienique have gone beyond the usual formula and dived into the details by offering a bespoke dry rug cleaning service. First of its kind, this is inspired by a European technique of cleaning carpets using certified, chemical-safe cleaning solutions. Absolutely no drying time needed and promises no discolouration or shrinkage. Best of all, it takes only three working days to have the rug cleaned and returned to owners’ home.

There will be a pre-cleaning assessment to check for stains, rug quality, etc. After a thorough cleaning treatment, rugs will be sanitised to eliminate bacteria, dust mite, and other micro organisms.

Sticky chemical residue typically left behind by many cleaning solutions in the market tend to attract dirt even after cleaning, causing the rug to become dirty again shortly after. De Hygienique’s newly formulated rug cleaning solution uses encapsulation technology that crystallises into dry powder and is thoroughly removed during the cleaning treatment, so no sticky residue will be left behind.

“This is an improved cleaning solution formula which allows cleaned rugs to stay clean longer. There’ll be no sticky residue that will be left behind unlike those cleaned using conventional methods,” explained Mr Fendi Zhang, Director of De Hygienique (Asia) Pte Ltd.

Customisable packages for ad hoc or dust mite allergy management are also available to cater to different rug maintenance needs.
