I can finally have those Engenius and Netgears under control, all in one place thanks to Tanaza.

Tanaza just announced that they expanded the number of Wi-Fi devices to which they can add cloud management capabilities, including the latest devices from TP-LInk, which can be now cloud managed.

The company is now moving towards higher end devices, allowing them to make the installed base of any Wi-Fi device cloud manageable, from the 15 USD TP-Link, to the 1,000 USD Ruckus Wireless APs.

The promise is to add the missing management features that stop Wireless System Integrators and Managed Solutions Providers to have to repeatidly configure devices one by one and prevents having to have complex VPNs put in place just to reboot a device or perform some remote maintenance.

"I can finally have those Engenius, Netgear and Ubiquiti devices under control. Even the legacy Wi-Fi APs that I have deployed for years!" is the typical thought of Wireless System Integrators working with Tanaza.

Tanaza is the first vendor-agnostic SaaS that gives the following benefits:

  • Cloud manage multi-vendor Wi-Fi Access Points through one single dashboard (cloud.tanaza.com)
  • No need for expensive hardware controllers
  • No restrictions/Unlimited number of clients (with no extra licenses to pay)
  • Remote monitoring of up/down bytes and packets based on SNMP
  • Real-time status (alive/dead)
  • Place Access Points on the map, organize in groups and manage each group/location independently
  • Change admin password, radio mode (802.11 b/g/n), radio channel, IP settings, SSID profile
  • Reboot the device via cloud.

Sebastiano Bertani, CEO of Tanaza, stated: "the R&D team is working hard to add new features all the time, such as the email alert, which will send an email when there is an issue on the network".

System Integrators, IT managers, and Managed Solutions Providers can now add all these features to any Wi-Fi device that is supported by Tanaza. At present, more than 30 models from TP-Link, D-Link, Ubiquiti, Engenius, Ruckus Wireless are included in Tanaza’s compatible device list. Tanaza just announced that they are going to add support for Apple devices and include a first set of Cisco and Aerohive devices, for a truly vendor agnostic solution to cloud manage any Wi-Fi device, from the very low-end to the high-end.

Tanaza allows to see a working demo of the dashboard and to get a free account that allows to cloud mange up to two Wi-Fi Access Points.
