The New York office of Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance (CBC Alliance) is launching an asset management division to provide management and leasing services to landlords in the New York Metro area. The new division will be headed by Steve Pressler, Principal, and Joanne Agoglia, Principal.

“The New York City office is now able to service the needs of both tenants and landlords,” says Obie Walli, CEO of CBC Alliance. “Our executive team is made up of established professionals who are well-respected in the industry for their expertise and insiders’ acumen.”

Pressler and Agoglia have worked together for more than 20 years and have been responsible for the leasing and/or management services of such notable office buildings as 509-, 590-, 609-, 720- and724 Fifth Avenue; 764-, 799-, 803-, and 824 Madison Avenue; 847 Lexington Avenue; 211 East 43rd Street; 16 East 52nd Street; 16-18 East 53rd Street; 120 East 56th Street; 10-14-, 16-18-, 24- and 41 West 57th Street; 20 East 49th Street; 636 Avenue of the Americas; 180-182 Broadway; and 130 Williams Street.

Adds CBC Alliance Principal Richard I. Selig, “When we joined with CBC Alliance last year the plan was to develop into a full-service commercial real estate organization. With these two veteran asset management professionals on board, we have achieved our goals quickly.”

Steve Pressler has been a commercial real estate broker since 1984, beginning his career as a tenants’ representative in the Midtown offices of Helmsley-Spear. He started Promenade Real Estate Corp. in 1989 with GAFISA USA, a Brazilian development and investment company, and provided leasing services for its Manhattan portfolio as a Senior Managing Director.

Joanne Agoglia joined Gomes de Alemeida Fernandes Management and Construction in 1981, which subsequently became GAFISA USA, and managed the Brazilian firm’s New York commercial portfolio. When the company formed Promenade Real Estate several years later, Agoglia was named Director of Asset Management and began working with Pressler. Through their work together, Promenade’s third party agency assignments rapidly expanded.

Among the many landlords the team has represented together over the years are APF Properties, Blackstone, DG Anlage, DZ Bank, GAFISA USA, Jeff Sutton, Meadow Partners, SL Green Realty Corp., Western Heritable Management, and The Witkoff Group.

Continues Peter Sabesan, another Principal of CBC Alliance, “The kind of synergy you see between Steve and Joanne, along with their great track records, is what was needed to start this division. Their skills are a perfect complement to our core service lines and we are delighted to welcome them to CBC Alliance.”
