Auburn, MA (PRWEB) May 01, 2013

Preferred Warranties, Inc., widely regarded as a quality leader in extended service contracts for pre-owned vehicles, has announced that it is expanding its trading area into New England.

The move, which amounts to a 35% increase in states covered, will be the company’s largest one-year growth since 1998, when Preferred Warranties was ranked number 179 on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing U.S. companies. That year PWI also earned the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics from the Better Business Bureau.

According to Peter Horan, Preferred’s Northeast regional sales manager, the company is now opening up Massachusetts while also solidifying its position in New York. PWI entered western NY State in 2012. Mr. Horan is managing business development in eastern New York State, New York City and Long Island, as well as the New England states.

“The independent dealers I’m meeting are very enthusiastic about carrying Preferred Warranties plans,” says Mr. Horan. “They recognize that Preferred is a company that will say what they do, do what they say, and stay dedicated to doing the right thing by the dealer and the customer.”

Preferred Warranties Inc. has been a quality leader in aftermarket vehicle protection plans since the company was founded in 1992. In addition to its planned expansion into the New England states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont, its protection plans are carried by dealerships in Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
