Digital agency Click Consult believes that Google AdWords’ new upgrade centre will help its PPC department to complete the transition to enhanced campaigns.
In an announcement in April 2013 on its official blog, Google AdWords revealed that it had introduced the new upgrade centre “to make upgrading easier for advertisers with lots of campaigns.” It can eventually be able to be accessed via the ‘Campaigns’ toolbar in AdWords and advertisers will be able to upgrade multiple campaigns, as well as merge campaigns, in just a few short steps.
Enhanced campaigns were introduced by AdWords in February 2013 to help advertisers better manage their campaigns, as people now access the web on multiple devices and from various locations. Enhanced campaigns allow advertisers to manage bids for ads accessed on different devices, as well as in different locations and at different times of the day. It also allows for smarter optimisation of ads; for example, click-to-call extensions on ads accessed via smartphones.
Click Consult have begun the process of moving to enhanced campaigns for all of its clients since they were introduced in February 2013, but the agency believes that the new upgrade centre will help them to complete this process in a more efficient manner.
