Acquisition bolsters the OnScroll suite of products aimed at measuring ad effectiveness and ad viewability

OnScroll, a leader in ad viewability and responsive advertising, today announced that they have completed the acquisition of Metric Science, an online advertising analytics and optimisation company. Metric Science’s optimisation technology offers both advertising buy and sells sides more insight into their online media performance. Metric Science’s propriety technology tracks billions of data points in real time enabling both advertisers and publishers to easily optimise towards placements which drive the highest ROI and response rates.

Metric Science’s technology has already been incorporated into OnScroll’s suite of products including OnScroll Serve, the company’s patented responsive ad-delivery technology. Customers of OnScroll Serve will now be able to quantify the uplift in response rates of their OnScroll enabled placements, as well as audit and ensure the viewability levels of their current ad units. OnScroll Serve works by ‘pro-actively’ rendering ad placement codes, only when a user has the chance to see an ad. The technology is currently being used by leading brands and publishing groups such as Visa, EE, Vodafone, Incisive Media and Progressive Media.
