Mangos, a full-service Philadelphia advertising agency, was honored in the 30th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards with 12 wins. Spanning a variety of media, including television, radio, print and direct mail, Mangos was recognized with two golds, three silvers, three bronzes and four merits. The winning work was chosen among 4,000 entries in the nation’s largest healthcare advertising awards competition.
Much of Mangos’ work for Lehigh Valley Health Network was recognized in the competition. Elements from a branding, Children’s Hospital and ER campaigns were honored.
The LVHN branding campaign aimed to reinforce that the health system’s reputation for advanced technology was matched by a passion for treating people – not simply the illness or injuries they suffer. The campaign, which was honored with one gold and one bronze, was also a huge success in the marketplace. Some of the work can be seen here.
Elements of Mangos’ campaign for Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital received one gold and three merits. The campaign, “Guardians of Tomorrow’s Superheroes” was based on the vision that the Children’s Hospital is doing everything possible to ensure that kids can grow up to fulfill their dreams. An out-of-the box campaign for Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg’s new rapid assessment ER also brought home one silver and one merit.
In addition to the LVHN work, some of Mangos’ recent work for Main Line Health was recognized. A campaign that helped the health system’s Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital to break out from a crowded marketplace won a silver and a bronze. The work echoed their innovative, bold approach to recovery. The Healthcare Advertising Awards have been conducted by Healthcare Marketing Report for 30 years. With 4,000 entries received, they are the largest healthcare advertising awards competition in the nation, and one of the ten largest of all advertising awards.
