May the 4th be with you.
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) May 02, 2013
May the 4th be with you. Celebrate National Star Wars day on May 4th with cool DIY light sabers and Star Wars cake ideas currently featured on Kids Activities Blog. Any aspiring Jedi will love to build his or her own light saber and eat cool Star Wars treats.
Get out the pool noodles and turn them into forceful light sabers. Materials needed are only grey and black duct tape and pool noodles. Simply cut the noodles to the desired length and tape the ends according to the template provided on Kids Activities Blog. The energetic Jedis in training will not likely hurt themselves with these foam light sabers. They make great party favors, too.
Another forceful idea is the Darth Vader Star Wars cake recipe. The best thing about the recipe is that the cake and decorations are easy to do for any cake decoration skill level. Most Star Wars cakes online require a baking master degree to accomplish. Not this one.
Simply buy black glitter candles, a red long candle, and a Darth Vader candle holder. Bake a mini-cake and ice it blue. Write the child's name in Start Wars font and place the candles according to the picture provided on Kids Activities Blog.
Fun Darth Vader chocolate cupcakes make another cool treat. Simply bake a batch of chocolate cupcakes and a batch of sugar cookies by cutting out each cookie with a bell shaped cookie cutter. Decorate the cookies with black gel coloring and with white and black Royal icing according to the template provided on Kids Activities Blog. Put chocolate frosting on the cupcake and sprinkle white nonpareils which represent the stars in the universe. Place the Darth Vader cookies on the cupcakes and ready are the super cool cupcakes.
