Mundial Sports Network (http://www.mundialsportsnetwork.com), the leading sports network reaching Latinos, announced today that it will sponsor a scholar through the Jackie Robinson Foundation (JRF), a public, not-for-profit organization that provides scholarships and vital mentoring and leadership training skills to academically gifted students of color. This award is the first scholarship awarded by a Hispanic-owned company to the Jackie Robinson Foundation in its 40 year history.

The official announcement and grant of the award will take place on Thursday, May 2nd from 6– 10:30pm at an exclusive Digital Content New Front event hosted by Mundial Sports Network and will feature multiple sports and broadcast celebrities in attendance. The event will be taking place at the brand new, state-of-the-art, Nevada Smiths Sports Bar located at 100 3rd avenue and 13th street in NYC.
