Brand management software company, Brandworkz, has enhanced and extended its functionality for automatic image and asset transcoding.

Web-to-mobile asset transformation capability

"Our web-to-mobile feature will save web developers and web designers huge amounts of time by accurately and consistently generating the same image in multiple formats in seconds” says Jens Lundgaard, founder and CEO of Brandworkz.

Brandworkz has developed functionality to download images and artworks automatically from the Brandworkz digital asset management system in the right format and version for use in mobile responsive websites and for creating banner advertising.

Web-to-mobile
The new digital asset transformation capability enables a user to click just one button in Brandworkz to output multiple versions of the same high resolution asset. This has been developed to be used by web designers working on responsive websites which require images in four different sizes for non-retina devices, and in four additional sizes for the new retina devices.

"We have created a mobile responsive layout production engine.” says Jens Lundgaard, founder and CEO of Brandworkz. “Graphics for the iPhone 5, 4 and 3, iPads and Android devices, such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 require specific formats. Our web-to-mobile feature will save web developers and web designers huge amounts of time by accurately and consistently generating the same image in multiple formats in seconds."

Web-to-digital
Marketers responsible for digital marketing specifically have access to the web-to-digital feature which generates digital banner ads. The web-to-digital system will automatically transform artwork to one or more of the 16 standard banner ad sizes commonly used online. Bespoke banner ad sizes can also be configured dynamically in the system.

"I am delighted that Brandworkz is continuing to develop functionality which can help marketers and web designers work more effectively." says Jens Lundgaard.
