Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit clients’ inventions to companies for review.

InventHelp, America’s largest invention submission company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Massachusetts, has designed a pool accessory that could help someone easily clean the floor of a swimming pool. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.

The “Pool Scrubber” would provide an alternative solution to cleaning a swimming pool’s floor easily and thoroughly. It would dislodge algae, dirt and other debris, and would help to save time, effort and money. The invention could complement the effectiveness of conventional pool brushes and chemicals, while also promoting healthy exercise for the user.

The invention would be sandals, that would feature adjustable or elastic straps and a foot-shaped sole. The underside of the sole would be covered by vertical bristles. To use, an individual secures a sandal to each foot, then slides his or her feet over the pool’s floor in a scrubbing motion. The Pool Scrubber could also be used to clean linoleum and other surfaces. The invention would be available in different sizes and colors, and could feature different types of bristles for different types of cleaning.

“I was frustrated by the poor performance of conventional pool brushes and chemicals,” said the inventor. “I decided that a more ergonomic and efficient way of making the floor of a pool look clean and feel smooth was needed.”

InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 11-BMA-3879 at (800) 851-6030.
