Everyone seems to agree – the current US healthcare system is in need of transformative change. Complexity within the system is creating ever greater challenges for healthcare providers, payers and public agencies to collaborate on improving levels of patient care and safety, reducing attrition and lowering cost. Healthcare institutions are trying many ways to address the needs, from tightening required procedures to employing “lean” processes. While these are important changes, they are often incremental rather than fundamental to changing the system. A more systemic approach to healthcare change is needed; one that supports the system in connecting and collaborating inside of organizations, across agencies, and within communities.
Join Saybrook University students, alumni and faculty on Tuesday, May 14, from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at the HUB Seattle for an informative and lively conversation about how to engage within healthcare systems in new ways:
- Supporting them in becoming more aware of their systemic challenges,
- Creating better systems of care
- Engaging in new collaborative ways of working
The event will be facilitated by Nancy Southern, Ed.D, Co-Chair of the Saybrook University’s School of Organizational Leadership and Transformation, and will be immediately followed by information meetings on Saybrook University's PhD program in Organizational Systems.
Sign up for this free event by filling in the RSVP form on our website.
