Looking to provide its award certificate plaques to well-deserving governmental agents, Presenta Plaque has obtained a GSA contract.

GSA (General Services Administration) establishes long-term government-wide contracts with commercial firms to provide access to millions of commercial products and services at volume discount pricing. In order for Presenta Plaque to obtain a GSA Contract, they needed to complete quite a few steps. First, they had to show that they are financially stable, have been around for at least two years, sell products that are commercially available and provide products that are compliant with the Trade Mark Agreements Act.

After these criteria were established, Presenta Plaque had to obtain a DUNS number and register on the system for Award Management. Once they obtained a Dun and Bradstreet Open Ratings Past Performance, Presenta Plaque had to identify an appropriate schedule for their products. When the product offering was identified, Presenta Plaque downloaded a corresponding solicitation. After all these steps were completed, Presenta Plaque had to prepare a proposal which included corporate and financial information, past performance, commercial practices and a proposed GSA price list. When Presenta Plaque received a satisfactory on the proposal, they negotiated the discounted price they wanted to offer. Once the negotiated price has been decided, a final proposal is submitted.

As a GSA Schedule Contract Holder, Presenta Plaque has several benefits. They are a preferred vendor provider for the federal government, federal customers are able to easily access what is being offered by other GSA Contract Holders, the sales process is sped up and doors are opened for more possible customers. GSA Schedule Contract Holders also enjoy a discounted rate on the products that are purchased from other GSA Schedule Contract Holders.
