In another informative Creative Real Estate Podcast, Rick Otton, leading commercial property investment strategist, was joined by his student- Jovan Sari, an immigrant from Europe, who successfully transitioned from being an IT specialist into a Property Investing Expert and Solicitor in Australia through using Rick Otton’s world renowned investment strategies.

Negative geared properties, a thing of the past
In the podcast episode, Jovan recalled that before attending Rick Otton’s boot camp in 2006 he had already purchased 2 investment properties in the Gold Coast in 2003, but these were negatively geared for tax purposes.
“We bought two properties and we were told that as long as we kept them we were gonna be millionaires,” Jovan said. Unfortunately, “At one stage, we were about $3,000 a month negative and we had to pay that from our regular income,” he added.
After Mr. Otton’s boot camp, Jovan tells that he and his wife were able to buy 6 houses
in 6 months and this earned them close to $4,000 monthly cash flow.
“It took us a bit of work to actually get back where we started only if we hadn’t made bad
decisions at the beginning, which was negatively geared property,” according to Jovan.
“At my property events and in my book ‘How To Buy A House For $1’ I explained the difference in traditional strategies and alternative investment strategies’ said Mr. Otton.
