Bob Mathe, President of HIMEX, the shortest, fastest, most complete route to the benefits of usage based insurance and smart fleet management, will deliver a Keynote Address at today’s opening session of Insurance Telematics Europe 2013, organised by Telematics Update.

Mathe will share his view of the technology and consumer trends driving powerful changes in the products and services demanded by the constantly connected consumer. He will also present examples of emerging technology that can exploit the synergy among ubiquitous phones, connected cars and tech-savvy consumers. Insurance carrier executives and fleet managers who embrace these emerging technologies will benefit from increased connections with their drivers and the opportunity to deliver personalised products and services.

In his speech, Mathe will demonstrate how frequent, high value contact and content provided by technology and telematics can generate greater trust in a brand or product, create a sense of reliance upon the information, and increase customer loyalty. He will also provide insight to how HIMEX integrates its patent pending game-based design and algorithms with a 3D Virtual World platform to change driving behaviour.
