Micross Components has been recognized by Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company and Honeywell Defense and Space for exceptional performance in the build, test and delivery of the EEPROM hybrids to the national space assets of Military Support Programs.
For nearly 10 years, the EEPROM product family has been a substantial part of the Micross product portfolio, enabling the company to be an industry leader in the manufacturing and testing of this device type, with multiple program design-ins.
“We continue to strive for excellence in manufacturing while maintaining the highest level of customer support,” stated Danny Weibel, Director of Operations for Micross Components. “Our dedication and support of the Military and Aerospace community remains a staple of the Micross brand, and we deeply appreciate the hard work and recognition of all who participate in the Military Support Programs.”
Sandy Contreras and Steven Mak of Micross Components were also awarded.
Sandy has supported the EEPROM product line from the original manufacturing design. She has led training, supported the Customer Source Activities, and has been at the forefront of yield improvements.
Steven’s dedication to the engineering work effort was vital in supporting the EEPROM product line. His direct working with customers helped to develop process improvements by placing a major emphasis on the seam seal process.
“It’s an honor to receive such an award,” commented Tony Hamby, General Manager of Micross Components. “This award not only recognizes our dedication to our customers, but our service to our country as well.”
