Perform Instant Redeemable Coupon program provided funding to support online cancer resource services

We’ve built our business by providing effective therapy products that help individuals manage their pain, so they can live a full and active lifestyle.

Hygenic/Performance Health, maker of Perform Pain Reliever, increased in-store activity with an Instant Redeemable Coupon (IRC) program in support of Pink-Link Breast Cancer Support Network, an online support resource for women affected by breast cancer. The IRC program resulted in savings for the consumer and a donation for Pink-Link for each coupon redeemed. The program ran during breast cancer awareness month and concluded with a total donation of almost $15,000 to Pink-Link.

“Hygenic/Performance Health is an important partner with Pink-Link and I am truly grateful for their generous donation,” stated Vicki Tashman, founder of Pink-Link. “Our website, which was launched in 2006 before the social network revolution, is in need of an update. A portion of this funding will support a website redesign and launch so our members will be integrated with all current social media. We will also use these funds to continue our community outreach program to create even more awareness for Pink-Link so that all breast cancer survivors can get the support, information and encouragement they need during treatment. We currently have over 5,000 members in all 50 states and 51 countries internationally.”

Pink-Link is a nonprofit organization and all breast cancer support services are free. Pink-Link's key service, an online database of breast cancer survivors, provides an intimate and personal link between breast cancer survivors. This "mentor-survivor" relationship provides the essential on-going support needed to endure treatment of breast cancer.

“It’s gratifying to know that our third annual IRC program is the most successful to date and that our partnership with Pink-Link continues to grow,” stated Chas Tabone, Trade Marketing Manager at Performance Health. “We’ve built our business by providing effective therapy products that help individuals manage their pain, so they can live a full and active lifestyle. Our Pink-Link partnership with Vicki’s meaningful organization truly makes a difference for so many people.”
