I think Next Door may just be the next big thing. Social networks are about being social, and what’s more social than hanging out with friends and neighbors.

Recently, Local Clicks To Bricks reviewed the new social network Next Door.
Next Door was launched in 2011 and is now running in every state according to an article in the Wall Street Journal.
The network has over 11,500 neighborhoods, and is adding about 40 or so neighborhoods each day, according to its co-founder and CEO, Nirav Tolia.
The company also plans to release an app for Apple's iOS devices within the next month and an Android app sometime this summer. Next Door currently works as a website only, but can still be accessed on mobile browsers according to the article.
Don Fawcett commented, “I think Next Door might just surprise the likes in Facebook and the hangouts in Google Plus. Next Door is creating a community based on a user’s physical location, this is very powerful.”
Don Fawcett is the CEO of Local Clicks to Bricks, a company that helps entrepreneurs who are marketing there own business. He teaches these go-getters how to market themselves to small business, stating that, “Small business accounts for more than half of the U.S. GDP, and they need marketing help more than big business.”
Next door is also working with public officials so that cities can use Next Door to broadcast important updates to all members across the city or to specific neighborhoods. Share crime updates, organize disaster plans, and coordinate events.
Don Fawcett commented, “I think Next Door may just be the next big thing. Social networks are about being social, and what’s more social than hanging out with friends and neighbors. From a marketing perspective, this takes word-of-mouth referrals for business to a whole new level. Savvy entrepreneurs will recognize this opportunity to be more intimately connected. I just think it’s great for everyone, police departments, municipalities, and small businesses. This really has the power to be a great tool for everyone.”
Don Fawcett teaches basic business marketing principles and Internet marketing strategies to business owners and individuals alike. For more information visit http://localclickstobricks.com/?p=167
