Home lifts specialist Stiltz Lifts recently attended the Spring Ideal Home in Ireland for the first time and hailed the event - considered the biggest and most attended exhibition for home owners - as a success.

Stiltz Lifts is a specialist home lifts provider in the United Kingdom.

“The reaction we got in Ireland was similar to what we have received in England. Many were surprised to hear the many advantages a Stiltz home lift has compared to a stairlift

Stiltz Lifts expanded its reach from the United Kingdom and exhibited its range of domestic lifts at the Spring Ideal Home Show in Ireland last month.

Organised by SDL Exhibitions Limited, the three-day exhibition was held at the RDS Simmonscourt Pavillion in Dublin from April 19 to April 21. The show is considered to be Ireland’s biggest and most attended exhibition for home owners.

The event also provides exhibitors an excellent opportunity to meet and do business with thousands of consumers who are interested in finding new ideas for their homes and lifestyle.

Stiltz Lifts showcased their entry-level product, the Stiltz Duo Lift, and it received lots of positive reviews from visitors interested in purchasing a lift for the home. The elevators are through floor lifts and can be fitted almost anywhere in the home. They are powered by a simple normal 13-amp power socket and use less power than an electric kettle.

Stiltz Lifts, based in Wokingham, Berkshire, took part in the Ideal Home Show and Ideal Home Show at Christmas – both at Earls Court in London – last year and decided the time was ripe to add the Spring Ideal Home Show in Ireland to its list of events in 2013.

Stiltz business development manager Lachlan Faulkner was impressed with the number of visitors at the RDS Simmonscourt Pavillion and anticipates the company’s return to the Emerald Isle for the show in 2014.

Mr Faulkner said: “Stiltz Lifts exhibited at the Ideal Home Show in London twice last year so when the opportunity came up to participate in the Spring Ideal Home Show in Dublin we jumped at the chance.

“The event is viewed by many as the biggest exhibition for home owners in Ireland so we felt it was a great way to give visitors in that country a taste of how a Stiltz lift works.

“We also felt it would give us the chance to make people who are maybe elderly or disabled aware that a domestic lift in the home is a real option, rather than perhaps a stairlift.

“The reaction we got in Ireland was similar to what we have received in England. Many were surprised to hear the many advantages a Stiltz home lift has compared to a stairlift and the affordability of it.

“We are now in the process of contacting many visitors who requested more information on our range of home lifts. I’m sure the Spring Ideal Home Show will be an event Stiltz Lifts will look at returning to again next year.”

ABOUT STILTZ LIFTS

Stiltz Lifts UK is the sole supplier, manufacturer and installer of Stiltz home lifts. Based in Wokingham, Berkshire, the company was founded in the United Kingdom and has a manufacturing facility in China.

Stiltz gained its experience designing domestic lifts and elevators in Australia for more than two decades. The lifts are through-floor and fit in the home - the first of their kind to be available in the UK.

The company developed the lift to make life easier for elderly or disabled people and help them to stay in their own homes for longer when stairs become too much. Unlike a stairlift, the Stiltz lift carries two people comfortably and is a hassle-free and cost-effective alternative.

The Stiltz Home Lifts range includes the standard Duo Lift, the Vista Lift and the Trio Lift. Stiltz’s lifts do not need fixing to walls and can be fitted almost anywhere in the home with no major building work. They have the smallest footprint for a residential lift on the market.

The lifts and elevators are also the quietest as they do not use hydraulics and are instead powered a unique electric motor drive system that is located discretely in the top of the lift car. All Stiltz domestic lifts are powered by a simple normal 13-amp power socket like any other household appliance which uses less power than an electric kettle.

No planning permission is needed for Stiltz lifts – just a standard building notice application. VAT exemption and grants from the Disabilities Facilities Grant are also available.
