Houston, TX (PRWEB) May 03, 2013
The Houston Texans overcame a tremendous need for a wide receiver when they picked DeAndre Hopkins from Clemson to fill that void in the first round. As the rookie is already penciled in as a starter, Hopkins is under immense pressure to make an immediate impact. Coach Gary Kubiak stated that they took DeAndre as the number 27 overall pick expecting him to touch the ball very early and very often. Hopkins has a lot on his shoulders, for there is very little roster behind him. If he struggles early, the team could be in a rough spot. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000166310/article/deandre-hopkins-might-start-early-for-houston-texans
Another player that signed with the Texans is quarterback Colin Klein out of Kansas State. He was drafted as an undrafted free agent, and is added to the list of five quarterbacks the Texans already have on the roster. However, the team will most likely not take that many to training camp.
