Coastal NC Run/Walk for Autism Raises $38,000 to Support Local Families

Wilmington event draws over 500 participants

On Saturday, April 27, the Autism Society of North Carolina and GHA Autism Supports held the third annual Coastal NC Run/Walk for Autism. Over 520 runners and walkers participated in the event, which included a chip-timed 5K race, a recreational 1-mile run/walk, and a kids’ dash. Following the run, there was a Family Day in the Park organized and sponsored by Surfer's Healing at Wrightsville Beach Park.
