New or upgraded products create greater ease of doing business for insurance organizations.

On the 10th anniversary of the ACORD-LOMA Forum, Vertafore is pleased to announce the addition of more products to their suite of products that enhance agency and carrier communications. The incorporation of ACORD standards has made it possible for Vertafore to further strengthen the products that support agent and carrier connectivity.

The new or upgraded Vertafore products now utilizing ACORD standards include:

Activity Notes, supporting ACORD XML v 1.24.1
Available now, carrier-initiated Activity Notes are delivered seamlessly into TransactNOW™ for agents to access, from all certified carriers. Via Activity Notes, a carrier can send notices to agents regarding policy or claims status, general notifications, and/or deliver policy attachments, such as declarations pages, that would normally be available on a standalone agent portal.

Claims Download, supporting ACORD XML v 1.24.1
Also available now, carriers can become certified to send Claims Download transactions to their Vertafore agents. The initial offering displays the downloaded detail in TransactNOW, where users can then attach the detail to their management system databases. The claims data is delivered seamlessly, and is available for all Vertafore agents to access. The fully-integrated version of Claims Download is scheduled to be delivered initially to AMS360™ agents, by end of year.

Vertafore Book Roll Analytical Tool
The Vertafore Book Roll Analytical Tool is available now for select personal and commercial lines of business, and is designed for use in conjunction with Vertafore’s Book Roll capabilities for carriers. The company’s Book Roll Analytical Tool provides partnering carriers with a way to evaluate the collection of ACORD AL3 and/or XML data they received in batch from Vertafore agents, and then easily filter that data to help determine their appetite for the book.

Vertafore eForms
In addition to the above products, Vertafore is also happy to announce their cloud-based ACORD Forms engine, Vertafore eForms. Vertafore eForms, initially available in AMS360 Online and then rolled out to other Vertafore solutions, enables faster implementation of ACORD forms as they are updated. This novel, shared service approach addresses the industry-wide pain points experienced with trying to keep ACORD forms current across agency management systems.

Vertafore XML Certification Tool
Similar to Vertafore’s AL3 Download Certification Tool, the company’s XML Certification tool helps carriers validate XML data for both Activity Notes and Claims Download priori to submitting it for certification. The XML certification tool validates both against the ACORD Standards, and Vertafore requirements, expediting the certification process.

“Vertafore is committed not only to adhering to and advancing ACORD standards, as evidenced through years of producing award-winning solutions, but to significantly improving security and ease of doing business for agencies and carriers,” said Mark Craig, SVP, product management for Vertafore. “We are the leader in providing our customers with efficient agency-carrier communications, facilitating shorter transaction processing times and more responsive customer service and are pleased to acknowledge the role of ACORD standards in this continued success.”
