With the addition of three new Cleveland area stores, Salon Lofts has solidified its position as the leader in the market, empowering beauty professionals by giving them the freedom to own and operate their own businesses without the inherent risks.

Salon Lofts’ targeted expansion in the greater Cleveland market moves to the next phase with the opening of three new outlets over the next two weeks. Salon Lofts introduced its unique differentiator to the market late last year when it opened its first location in Mentor and a second in Woodmere. The company and its concept is new to the Cleveland market and presents an opportunity for experienced beauty professional to take their careers in a new direction.

Locations at the ACME Montrose Plaza, Corporate Park of Beachwood and Shaker Town Center will all open between April 28 and May 12, 2013.

“From the time we first opened our doors, Cleveland has embraced our progressive alternative to more traditional ways of working within the highly competitive beauty industry,” explained Salon Lofts CEO Daniel Sadd. “With the addition of three new Cleveland area stores, Salon Lofts has solidified its position as the leader in the market, empowering beauty professionals by giving them the freedom to own and operate their own businesses without the inherent risks.”

Unlike traditional salons in which a stylist is either employed by the shop owner or rents a booth in the shop, Salon Lofts rents loft space to beauty professionals, who run their own independent business. The professionals set their own schedules, establish their own pricing, create their own product offerings and, most importantly, keep all profits. In addition, Salon Lofts equips its loft owners with state-of-the-art technology and online tools to market themselves and build their clientele. The success of the concept is evident in the retention rate of Salon Lofts beauty professionals. At 91 percent, it is well above the industry average.

During the next two weeks Salon Lofts is also set to open a new shop in Greenwood, Indianapolis, another market targeted for company expansion. The first Indianapolis location opened in November 2012 at the Fashion Mall at Keystone, while three more are slated for early to mid-2013, including Greenwood, Merchant Square in Carmel and Cool Creek Village.

In all, Salon Lofts plans to open 15 to 20 new stores in 2013. Presently, the company operates in Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati, Ohio; and Tampa Bay and Indianapolis.
