Washington, DC- Salsa Labs, Inc. (Salsa), creator of the online and integrated platform for nonprofits of all sizes to build their support base, today announced a new addition to its growing roster of clients, The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Switzerland. The global nonprofit works in 190 countries and territories to save and improve children’s lives through health care, environmental improvements, education and beyond. Through trusted Salsa partner, Kampaweb, UNICEF Switzerland has launched a new website, unicef.ch, utilizing the Salsa platform and becoming the first major Swiss NGO (non-governmental organization) to produce a website fully integrated with their online customer relationship management (CRM).

Salsa will help UNICEF Switzerland with their online communication outreach, fundraising and advocacy efforts. The newly redesigned website boasts a modern design and user-friendly interface and focuses primarily on educating and mobilizing supporters as well as simplifying the giving process for would-be donors. In addition, the Salsa integration enables UNICEF Switzerland to easily and quickly set up fundraising efforts to respond to real world situations in addition to maintaining their ongoing fundraising program. The site is using a greatly enhanced Drupal-Module to bring the integration of Salsa’s features in UNICEF’s multilingual CMS Drupal to new levels.
UNICEF Switzerland also has plans to engage Salsa to set up peer-to-peer fundraising pages, online petitions and other actions, and manage their online communication efforts.

This is the first European client for Salsa, made possible by the addition of an Ireland-based data server.
