World Wide Security has announced continued growth initiatives through the appointment of Steve Schlansky as General Manager to head operational efficiencies for the organization. “World Wide Security Group and its member companies will benefit from Steve’s expertise in managing technical operations for installations throughout the New York region,” stated Kenneth Mara, President and CEO of World Wide Security.
The Tri-state area, including New York City and Long Island have been experiencing a renewal in the economy and with this comes the opening of new businesses and increased home sales. “World Wide Security is positioned to meet the demand of the region for all its security, life safety, emergency dispatch, integration and low voltage needs. Advanced technologies allowing consumers and businesses to manage their properties remotely are just some of the ways our specialized technicians are increasing World Wide’s market penetration,” explained Mara. An important component to this growth will be Schlansky’s industry experience in managing efficient expansion through strategic productivity. “Companies can grow too fast so it is important to institute best practices for managing the skills the company has with market trends,” stated Schlansky.
Steve Schlansky has been in the security industry for nearly 20 years, starting his career with ADT, followed by becoming a manager with Honeywell Security and general manager of the Long Island branch for Protection 1, prior to joining World Wide. “I have admired the entrepreneurial spirit of World Wide Security for a long time and when the opportunity to join the company came along, I was thrilled,” offered Schlansky.
