Shareindipity will donate 10% of revenues from a line of abuse awareness bracelets to RAINN
Walnut Creek, CA (PRWEB) May 09, 2013
RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network), the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization, and Shareindipity are working together to increase awareness, educate and raise funds to combat the tragic national issue of sexual abuse. In support of RAINN’s mission to provide outreach through the National Sexual Assault Hotline, assisting policymakers and the media and educating America to prevent sexual violence, Shareindipity will donate 10% of revenues from a line of abuse awareness bracelets to RAINN.
According to RAINN’s website, every 2 minutes, someone in the U.S is sexually assaulted. 54% of these assaults are not reported to police and 97% of rapists never spend a day in jail. “Most people have been affected directly or indirectly by sexual abuse,” said Sheri Golden, Founder and Director at Shareindipity. “As such, supporting RAINN was a perfect match to our mission of awareness and revenue generation for local, national and international causes. We look forward to working closely with the RAINN in fulfilling their mission,” she stated.
With each bracelet purchased, as well as a 10% donation, Shareindipity will also be distributing an informational leaflet, educating purchasers on the organization and some facts on abuse. Shareindipity was built upon inspiration and desire to heighten awareness, education and to support a variety of causes. Our bracelets are simple, practical and elegant. You can dress an outfit up with them or wear them casually with the knowledge that you are sharing awareness about a cause that is important to you. Shareindipity is a for-profit organization that will donate 10% of sales to the cause assigned to the particular bracelet purchased.
