Founder and CEO Eugene Carr announced today that Patron Technology has achieved Service Provider Certification of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS), the most rigorous, industry-recognized payment-card security standard available globally. Achieving this level of PCI compliance means that all non-profit organizations and commercial clients using PatronManager CRM, its 100% web-based system developed in partnership with salesforce.com and the Salesforce Foundation, can be confident that Patron Technology adheres to rigorous security standards, including maintaining the proper security policies, procedures, and regulations, all of which reduce credit card theft and fraud.

To achieve PCI DSS-Service Provider Level 1 validation, the level required for the companies with the highest volume of credit card transactions, Patron Technology underwent a comprehensive third-party examination of its policies, procedures, and technical systems by FishNet Security, Inc. “A passing Report on Compliance (ROC) is not easy to achieve.
