66% of marketing executives were found to be allocating at least a quarter of their budget to digital marketing in 2013
(PRWEB UK) 9 May 2013
It has been reported in E Consultancy that because of a number of complications within today’s business environment, 40% of marketing executives do not feel prepared to meet their objectives. 55% of respondents claimed to be satisfied with the level of collaboration with their outside agencies, however the survey showed a gap between expectations and results delivered. 66% of marketing executives were found to be allocating at least a quarter of their budget to digital marketing in 2013, with as much as 23% planning to spend at least half of their budget on digital marketing.
The online marketing professionals at SEO Positive take a keen interest in all new updates and developments within the industry and were particularly intrigued by the results of the latest survey. Managing Director, Ben Austin, shares his thoughts on the matter.
“Whilst it is positive to see that the majority of respondents were pleased with the partnership they hold with their outside agencies, it is clear that the gap between expectations and results needs to be tightened. Closer communication is needed to ensure both parties are happy with the service they are providing or receiving. Meanwhile, it is great to see that nearly a quarter of marketing executives are putting aside half of their budgets for digital marketing and we would expect this to rise by next year."
