The Ox Ridge Hunt Club (ORHC) is happy to announce the addition of two major sponsors, Garavel Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Norwalk and Moffly Media, to the ever-growing list of supporters for the 2013 Ox Ridge Charity Horse Show, which will benefit Pegasus Therapeutic Riding.

Scheduled for June 11 through 16 at the ORHC, the Charity Horse Show is a United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Hunter “A” rated major riding competition featuring three-star jumpers. Known for its breathtaking show jumping exhibitions, this year’s highly-anticipated program also serves as the kick-off to the 100-year anniversary celebration of the organization in 2014, and features multiple generations of riding families.

“We’re so happy to be able to improve the lives of so many by sponsoring this year’s Charity Horse Show. It truly is an honor,” said Eric Shearn, Garavel’s general sales manager.

Also returning to sponsor this year’s program is Moffly Media, a publisher of numerous lifestyle magazines throughout Fairfield County, including New Canaan, Darien and Rowayton Magazine.

“Events like the Ox Ridge Charity Horse Show provide Fairfield County with its unique flavor and vitality,” said Jonathan Moffly, President of Moffly Media.

“We want our contribution to help preserve this aspect of Darien life and Fairfield County’s riding culture. We are especially pleased to support Pegasus’s Therapeutic Riding Program, the benefactors of the show.”

Both Garavel and Moffly Media join an already impressive roster of local business sponsors, including Callari Auto Group: BMW, MINI, VOLVO (Westport) and FIAT (Stamford), the Carrington Charitable Foundation, Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Norwalk, Palmer’s Catering, Stronghold Equine Equipment, Whole Foods of Darien, Equestrian Services International, Southern Tent, Seedlings Foundation, Aden Brook/AgriSales, Whipstick Farm, Tracy Stables, Grand Prix Equine-Dr.Baus, Atlantic Construction, Stamford Hospital, Lucky Lawn LLC, O’Neill’s Pub, Der Dau Boots, FW-PHA, Susan's Canine Training, Darien Electric, Meticulous Landscaping & Design, Jimmy's Southside Pub, Glen Liquors, and Sandy Hook Forge.

Additional sponsorship and advertising opportunities are still available, with packages ranging between $250 and $30,000.

The proceeds from this year’s program will be donated to Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Program, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Founded at Ox Ridge Hunt Club in 1975, Pegasus provides equine-assisted activities to 225 students a year at four regional chapters, including its main equestrian facility, Pegasus Farm, in Brewster, N.Y.
