On Thursday, May 16th at the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan, hundreds of young philanthropists will come together for The Fortune Society’s Third Annual Spring Soiree, supporting life-changing programs and services for men and women coming out of jail and prison. The soiree is hosted by The Fortune Society’s Junior Committee and Co-Chairs Louise Tabbiner, Luke Weil and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter John Forte.
The evening will feature a cocktail reception and will honor acclaimed documentary filmmaker Eugene Jarecki (Why We Fight, Trials of Henry Kissinger and The House I Live In), for his work to promote awareness about America's criminal justice system and the profound human rights implications of U.S. drug policy.
