Since the top five brokers are pretty evenly matched any rating upgrade or downgrade can change several positions
Victoria, Mahe (PRWEB) May 08, 2013
May's ranking of the best binary options brokers has just been released by the famous monitoring portal Binary-options-brokers.com. The top gets updated on a monthly bases and shows the best rated brokers according to a complex algorithm that takes into account more than twenty criteria.
The last update brought important changes to the top as 24 Option reached the number one position. It's been twenty months since 24 Option was last on the top spot back in September 2011 and this shows how a broker can regain the first position following repeated efforts to improve.
Trade Rush fell on the second spot after holding the first place for seven consecutive months. Jason Moore from Binary-options-brokers.com commented on the change: "This change was not about Trade Rush, as we still think this is a very good broker and has done nothing wrong to reduce its score. This change was the result of 24 Option's rating getting constantly improved, as we can see that 24 Option moved directly from the fifth spot to the very top. Since the top five brokers are pretty evenly matched any rating upgrade or downgrade can change several positions."
On the third spot of the binary options brokers list, we can now find Stock Pair which held the second spot in April. Immediately below comes Zoom Trader, one of the brokers which constantly improved rankings in recent months.
The fifth spot sees another comeback as Anyoption, the oldest binary options broker, has reached the top five after an absence that lasted five months. One of the reasons behind Anyoption's comeback is the excellent progress made by the broker on the Chinese market where it is now the leader.
Just below the top five, we can see other famous brands like Opteck, Ikko Trader, Red Wood Options, U Binary and XP Markets.
Right now, all the brokers that can be found in the top ten list accept traders from the United States, but some of them have certain restrictions. For example, 24 Options has a minimum deposit of 500 dollars for US clients while traders from the rest of the world can start trading with only 200 dollars. Another restriction can be found at Anyoption where US traders are not allowed to trade binary options on currencies. They are free to trade on stocks, indices and commodities only.
The full ranking that currently includes eighteen brokers can be found on the monitor's website at http://www.binary-options-brokers.com. The ranking is not limited to a certain amount of brokers and it can vary depending on the number of brokers that obtain a rating above a certain level. Historically, the number of brokers in the ranking has constantly increased as more binary options brokers managed to get high ratings as the industry has developed.
