Distinction Further Validates Company’s Ability to Revolutionize Mobile Marketing for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses

Similar to the importance of using Certified Public Accountants for their taxes, businesses shouldn’t risk their advertising investment with unproven partners

Thumb Friendly announced today that it has been designated a Google AdWords Certified Partner. The Google AdWords Certification Program is a globally recognized stamp of approval that validates a company’s knowledge of the latest AdWords tools and best practices. In order to achieve certification, a company must demonstrate their advertising management proficiency by successfully passing in-depth qualification exams and also manage the execution of significant advertising expenditures over an extended period of time.

The new partner status with Google represents Thumb Friendly’s ongoing commitment to helping clients create, manage, and optimize their online advertising campaigns. “Similar to the importance of using Certified Public Accountants for their taxes, businesses shouldn’t risk their advertising investment with unproven partners,” says Andrew Katz, Thumb Friendly’s Founder & Chief Executive Officer. “The Google AdWords Certification Program is yet another way in which we’ve proven our ability to help small and medium-sized businesses drive incremental revenue through advertising solutions designed to generate and convert leads through smart phones, iPads, and other mobiles devices.”

A recent study by comScore, Inc. found that 4 in every 5 smartphone users – 85.9 million in total – access retail content on their mobile device. A separate study conducted by Google showed that nearly 75% of users preferred a mobile-friendly site, and 50% of those surveyed said that even if they like a business they will use them less often if their website isn’t mobile friendly. Of course, business owners and professionals who understand how consumers are using their mobile devices to inform their decisions – and design their digital advertising investments accordingly – will be positioned to capitalize on these shifting market dynamics.

“Once I realized how many prospective patients were visiting my website through a mobile device, I realized that I needed help from someone that knew online marketing as well as I know IVF fertility treatment,” says Dr. Mark Perloe. “Almost overnight, the team at Thumb Friendly enabled me to reach people that may have never found me before. Best of all, their expertise has allowed me to remain focused on what I do best.”

Thumb Friendly’s Google certification comes on the heels of a recently announced infusion of venture capital that will support the further development of the company’s mobile marketing platform, as well as additional sales and marketing efforts designed to help the company maintain its aggressive plans for growth. Among those participating in the funding round was Frank Bishop, former CEO of Invesco, Ltd. and Managing Director of AL III Management, an investment partnership. Also taking part in the round was Cartera Commerce co-founder Peter Davis, a local advertising pioneer and serial entrepreneur. “We’ve experienced double-digit revenue growth every quarter since we were founded because we offer small and medium-sized business owners an unmatched mix of affordability and easy-to-use technology”, says Katz. “I believe these recent developments will only serve to enhance our leadership position in the mobile marketing space”.
