The NCH has worked hard to shake off the stereotypical views of hypnotists and help clients get realistic and achievable results with everyday issues such as quitting smoking, losing weight and dealing with anxiety.

According to the Daily Mail, Felix Economakis is claiming to be able to increase a woman’s breasts by three cup sizes through just three sessions of hypnotherapy. The psychologists and hypnotherapist claims that he can remove psychological blocks that prevent a woman’s breast tissue from growing.

Speaking of his techniques he explained, "The mind basically controls the body and if you know how to work with the mind you can get it to make changes in the body. We know emotions affect the body. When people get stressed they get headaches, for example. Using hypnosis, I can work directly with the mind. I speak to the part that controls hormones to encourage growth. There are many reasons for these blocks, for instance, during puberty women associate big breasts with unwanted male attention when they were not emotionally ready."

The National Council for Hypnotherapy is one of the UK’s most established hypnotherapy directories for qualified and certified hypnotherapists based throughout the UK and is dedicated to offering ethical help to those looking for a complementary type therapy. This latest story has raised some concerns for members on the Council as a representative explained, "The NCH has worked hard to shake off the stereotypical views of hypnotists and help clients get realistic and achievable results with everyday issues such as quitting smoking, losing weight and dealing with anxiety. It is medically accepted that breast tissue stops growing at around 21 years of age and is mostly influenced by hormones. It is highly unlikely that any type of hypnotherapy could increase breast tissue and with such expensive rates it is a method that we would recommend thinking very carefully about before undertaking it."

The National Council for Hypnotherapy continues to offer local advice and information on professional and qualified hypnotists throughout the British Isles.
