Don Fawcett, CEO of Local Clicks To Bricks, recently reviewed a report written by email service provider Constant Contact.
The report was compiled from two separate surveys that were conducted in May 2012, and December 2012 from 1,100 small business owners in the companies database.
Don Fawcett commented, “Constant Contact’s report confirms what I’ve been telling my Local Clicks to Bricks partners all along, that small business is using social media marketing more and more. It’s here to stay.”
The two surveys point double digit increases for YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Facebook grew by only 7%, but has the biggest market share with 82% of small businesses agreeing that the social site can be effective in marketing their business.
Don Fawcett commented, “What I found interesting about this report was that 54% of business owners said social media marketing is what they need help with most. This opens the door for entrepreneurs who are willing to provide effective social media marketing strategies to local businesses. The is great for the single marketer because when they partner with Local Clicks to Bricks, we do all the social marketing for their client. Business owners don’t want to have to learn another trade. They’re looking for effective companies that can do it for them. They don’t want to have to learn Google Analytics. They just want new customers. This is what Local Clicks to Bricks specializes in.”
An article in Forbes of the top ten social media tips for small business lists Google Analytics, scheduling new content posts, and posting consistently as three of their top ten tips.
Don Fawcett added, “What we’ve done now is take our model to the next level. The local entrepreneur or marketer now has all the tools in one place to effectively signup new local businesses who are in desperate need of social media marketing help. We provide lead generation and total fulfillment of the services, so there’s nothing technical for the person to learn.”
