Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 12 and if you’re looking for a unique gift to show that special mom, grandma, mother-in-law, or motherly influence in your life how much you care, be sure to attend Jenne Rayburn’s Spring 2013 Trunk Show, showcasing one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces by Boston based jewelry designer Jenne Rayburn ( The Mother’s Day Trunk Show will happen during the Fort Point Arts Community Art Walk Spring Open Studios in Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday, May 11th, from 11am to 5pm. A member artist of the Fort Point Arts Community, Rayburn will have available her handcrafted jewelry collections as well as one-of-a-kind Statement Necklaces and limited edition leather handbags and textiles.

Bold colored gemstones, natural materials and modern vintage designs are trending for spring 2013. This design sensibility has always been a part of Jenne Rayburn’s unique collection of handcrafted jewelry. “Many women are afraid of bright colors, because they are worried that the color won't be flattering or will draw too much attention,” notes Rayburn. “However, wearing a bright color that complements your eye color or skin tone can bring a glow to your face and a sparkle to your eyes resulting in a bold look that will make you look and feel terrific.”

Rayburn will also have on display at the Trunk Show her leather clutch handbags; vintage inspired and repurposed vintage Statement Necklaces, and her handcrafted silk and wool scarves. In addition to the Mother’s Day Trunk Show on May 11th, Jenne Rayburn will be participating in the SoWa Outdoor Market from June through October 2013.
