Washington D.C. Soldiers are in Luck for State Military Ribbons

USA Military Medals is now providing Washington D.C. National Guard members with much needed state military ribbons.

Military ribbons and medals supplier, USA Military Medals, is offering Washington D.C. National Guard ribbons, here, today, to better serve soldiers there.

UMM is stocking five D.C. ribbons, including the Washington D.C. National Guard Active Duty Ribbon, Washington D.C. National Guard Attendance Ribbon, Washington D.C. National Guard Community Service Ribbon, Washington D.C. National Guard Emergency Service Ribbon, and the Washington D.C. National Guard Recruiting Ribbon.

“Even though D.C. soldiers are headquartered across the country from us, it doesn’t mean their dress uniform needs are any different than soldiers here in Oregon,” explained USAMM, LLC President of business operations, Jared Zabaldo.

USAMM owns and operates USA Military Medals along with various other military uniform e-commerce stores.

“Of course these guys will have Fort McNair and even Fort Myer across the river, but bases like that just aren’t going to carry State awards,” said Zabaldo.

These state awards are available in both the so-called “thin” style ribbon as well as the more traditional slide-on version. Soldiers may also build mil-spec military ribbon “racks” by using the hi-tech “EZ Rack Builder” – a free, online uniform program.

From military slang, a military ribbon or medal “rack” represents the colorful rows of awards typically found above the wearer’s left pocket on U.S. armed forces dress uniforms.

“I want D.C. folks to have continual access to their state awards just as I do any soldier,” said Zabaldo.

USA Military Medals is an internet-based company formed in 2005, carrying more than 12,000 dress uniform products in stock and specializing in custom military medal and military ribbon rack production with their state-of-the-art rack builder. USA Military Medals also operates a brick and mortar store servicing local military personnel and veterans.
