Eric Brand, a prominent high-end, contemporary furniture manufacturer, is bringing his innovative, cutting-edge “Mobile Materials Bar” to the Hospitality Design Exposition & Conference (HD Expo) in Las Vegas May 15-17, 2013. Adding a new twist this year, Eric Brand offers hospitality designers an inviting setting to peruse a vast collection of materials used to create innovative interior furnishings, and also delve deeper into the origin of and science behind these exotic materials.
“Since thousands of industry decision makers come to HD Expo to examine tools, products and services to remain successful in our changing economy, we want to not only showcase a comprehensive collection of materials, but also reveal the origin and science behind what comprises these inventive furnishings that features exotic materials and finishes, which we source from all over the globe,” explained Owner Eric Brand.
The 20’ x 20’ traveling trailer converts into a swanky and functional showroom and features various monitors displaying details of complex projects and a “materials bar” where HD Expo goers can take a seat at barstools along the onyx, lighted bar and select exotic materials and examine the make-up of materials and finishes, such as the life cycle of Mother of Pearl, or Japanese acrylic – and the process of converting petroleum – and the chemical make up of crystal stone.
