Educating and inspiring the next generation
TAI’s main mission is to introduce young people to the world of aviation and science, as well as to provide educational assistance to programs that support these goals. Through opening doors to STEM summer camps and Aviation opportunities, the local TAI chapter is honoring the accomplishments of those who came before by training future history makers.
These camps are run 100% by volunteers, therefore community and business support is needed to maximize the number of students that are able to participate. The Summer Orientation to Aviation camp is a week of education and fun, where students aged 13-17 can learn through seminars and hands-on experience. Other than a registration fee to ensure commitment to attendance, the camp is run free of charge.
The walk will be held:
- Saturday, May 25th, 2013 at Albuquerque Academy outer loop.
- Parking and Registration/Check In will be at the Hoffmantown north parking lot
- Strollers, walkers, and families are more than welcome
Free Water Bottles donated by Cornali Orthodontics to the first 200 registrations
