Rave Cinemas Berlin 12 will transition to Starplex Cinemas on Friday, May 10, 2013.

Starplex Cinemas announced today that it has acquired the Rave Cinemas Berlin 12 in Berlin, Connecticut. The theater will transition to Starplex Cinemas on Friday, May 10 in time for the opening of “The Great Gatsby.” Rave Cinemas Berlin 12 is located at 19 Frontage Rd, Berlin, CT 06037.

One major change that will be implemented at the new Starplex Cinemas location this Friday is the new reduced pricing. Tickets will be $5 for all shows before 6pm and children and seniors anytime. All shows after 6pm for adults will be $7 daily, with a $5 all day special every Tuesday.

The new Starplex location will also offer an expanded concession menu, along with lower concession prices, including $1 hot dogs every day.

“Reducing ticket and concession prices is a great way to enhance our guests’ experience,” said Traci Hoey, Director of Marketing at Starplex Cinemas. “We hope it will also help bring in our guests more often with affordable pricing.”

In addition to lower prices, the theater will also offer a loyalty program that allows guests to earn points for every dollar they spend at the box office and concession. These points can be redeemed for free concessions and even movie tickets.

Other amenities offered by Starplex include Real D 3D, 100% digital projection, stadium seating, digital surround sound, wall-to-wall screens, and online ticketing options. The theater is also available for event rentals, as party packages are available.
