Riverhead, NY (PRWEB) May 15, 2013
buncee®, an easy to use online content creation canvas, launched a pilot program today that helps teachers and educators gain early access to technology tools for their classroom. The buncee.com platform is ideal for schools developing flip learning lesson plans used in reverse classroom environments, or aligning their curriculum with Common Core Standards.
The program is designed to help schools leverage buncee.com's digital canvas and gain a better understanding of how teachers and students can engage with technology and express their creativity in the classroom. CEO, Marie Arturi notes, "We've been working closely with schools for the past few months and the feedback has been very positive. We are looking forward to gaining feedback and 'wishlists' from these users that we plan to implement on our platform as soon as possible. We know we meet a critical need for educators, and are committed to serving the needs of this market."
The pilot program kicks off with two schools: McGann-Mercy High School, located in Riverhead, NY and Our Lady Queen of Apostles Regional Catholic School, in Center Moriches, NY. When asked about the program both principals looked forward to the opportunities. McGann-Mercy's Principal, Carl A. Semmler said, "Thank you buncee, for offering our students a creative and user friendly platform for expressing their ideas. It has given our teachers another tool to help the students synthesize items from informational sources and apply them to a theme. I can see Buncee helping us to better apply the Common Core Standards to the curriculum." Stacy L. Steuber, Principal for Our Lady Queen of Apostles noted, "As a school that strives to provide an educational environment that is both challenging and creative, we are happy to be working with buncee. Our teachers can develop lessons that are interactive in order to better engage students in their learning. Our students can use buncee to demonstrate their understanding of concepts using digital content that is user friendly and safe."
