TablePadFactory.com, the leading online source for custom made home & office Table Pad and Table Pad Accessories, announced the launch of their newest color Tuesday, adding to the already 25 color choices available for their line of table protective products. The newly launched Rosewood Color, a light burgundy, is part of their Traditional Solid Color Collection and is the first red tone to become a swatch of the Traditional Solid Color family.
Inspired by the wine groves of Central France and richly hued timbers of Scotland’s canopy trees, TablePadFactory’s Rosewood Solid Color is designed to match furniture with red-toned elements, like cherry wood and apple walnut wood. Dining room tables, conference tables, end tables and coffee tables made from these kinds of woods need protection from every day spills, scratches and heat. The Rosewood table pad provides a practical solution because it keeps the design hue of the table while protecting the integrity and structure of the table’s top.
To create the exact color, the company experimented with over 20 different deep red and brown combinations, building several dozen prototypes before selecting the right one to market. Research into their customer base showed that while customers loved the browns of the currently available Maple Solid and Walnut Solid colors, they were looking for a richer burgundy color for their special red-wood based tables. The Rosewood Solid color addresses that market need.
As part of the Traditional Solid Color table pad collection, which is known for its smooth, consistent design of equally-sized textured like ebbs and flows, the new Rosewood color creates a simple, clean looking table pad. It’s similarity to the rich Cranberry color from the Leatherette Tone Collection is apparent, but it differs in that the Cranberry Leatherette Color is a little darker than cranberry sauce, whereas Rosewood Solid is much lighter than cranberry sauce. Furthermore, the Cranberry surface is made up of variant size lines and loops, as seen throughout the Leatherette Collection, while Rosewood’s surface is much more patterned and consistent.
The Rosewood table pad will be priced at the same wholesale prices the rest of the company’s products sell for. It will be available in all sizes, shapes and table leafs, and can be ordered through TablePadFactory’s online ordering system, over the phone or via their in-home measuring service. The product will be built with the same patented Magnetic Locking System called Magnaloc™ that TablePadFactory uses in all of its pads, which prevents slipping and parting of pads.
The Rosewood color, which refers to the top leatherette surface of the table pad, is available with any combination of bottom velvet colors. Product options include Rosewood-Black, Rosewood-Brown, Rosewood-Burgandy, Rosewood-Green and Rosewood-Tan. TablePadFactory plans on launching a green-based Traditional solid over the next six months, just in time for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday seasons.
