Set within the stunning location of Beal in North Northumberland our immaculately presented holiday home is only 4 miles from Holy Island. Holy Island (Lindisfarne) Castle built in the 1550’s is one of the distinct and picturesque features of the Island. Lindisfarne Priory is the original home to the Lindisfarne Gospels. Both open to the public.
Bee Hill House is ideally situated opposite The Barn at Beal where mouth-watering breakfasts, delicious morning coffee and freshly baked cakes and scones are available. Lunch is available daily and evening meals on Friday and Saturday.
Bee Hill House is located on the ‘Coast and Castles’ cycle route part of National Cycle Network Route 1.
The house comprises:
A large fully-equipped kitchen with Aga and separate oven. Dining area opens onto patio. Spacious lounge with fabulous views to Holy Island, log burner, French windows leading to patio and large enclosed garden with Teak Garden Furniture. Three king-size bedrooms, two with en-suites, two twin bedrooms, two bath/shower rooms. Utility room. Play room with large selection of toys and books for young and older children including Playstation2 and wii. Cot, additional folding bed and high chair available on request. Baby sitter on request. Full Sky television package and free Wi-Fi for use on own lap top or smart phone.
We are pet friendly and allow up to 2 dogs per stay.

The Northumbrian Coastline and Countryside is incredibly beautiful and full of things to do on your stay. Cycle paths and walking routes allows you to appreciate the scenery.
Kimmerston Riding Centre, one of the best known riding centres in the North East, is only 15 minutes from the house. Offering a selection of rides from novice to experienced, either hacks in the foothills of the Cheviots or beach rides on Holy Island’s sands.
There are a number of quality golf courses in the area, Goswick Golf Club being a nearby Open Championship qualifying course. Alternatively, if you prefer a slower pace we are surrounded by miles of beautiful white sandy beaches, magnificent castles, historic towns and rugged countryside.
