Whenever we have the chance to honor those who have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice for our freedoms and way of life, we should do so with gusto! Not just on the last Monday of May.

Noun: A Memorial Day, the last Monday in May, on which those who died in active military service are remembered.
The very funny folks at "Life is Crap" a hilarious T-shirt company, nestled up in the lush green hills of Vermont, take Memorial Day very seriously. They believe every day should be a sort of Memorial Day. Paul Wheeler, an Owner of Life is Crap, was quoted recently, “Whenever we have the chance to honor those who have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice for our freedoms and way of life, we should do so with gusto! Not just on the last Monday of May.”
Memorial Day has come to symbolize the start of summer for many and is often celebrated with barbecues, family gatherings, bike rides, parades, flag waving, and concerts on the town green! But the real meaning of Memorial Day has occasionally faded from memory, and is lost in all the holiday festivities.
Memorial Day was created as a holiday to honor those men and women, young and old, from all races, cultures and religions, who have paid the ultimate price to ensure our freedom. It is our opportunity to pause, reflect and give thanks for the many that have died protecting our freedoms.
While celebrating our great national pride, the ‘Crapsters’ at Life is Crap also realize that it’s a time to celebrate the kick-off of summer season with family and friends. Studio Manager Dean Darling announced, “Life is Crap is honoring all our Vets and men and women in uniform, with a whopping special offer of free shipping on all orders over $29.00 starting May 23rd and running through the 27th.”
