Attorney Charles Boyk shares teen driving safety tips in hopes that parents stress the importance of safe driving to their teens. Safe driving can significantly reduce a teen driver's risk of being involved in a car accident.

Summer begins in just a few weeks so teens with have more free time, meaning they will be driving to and from friend’s houses, the beach, Cedar Point, and other recreational activities. With more time to spend doing extracurricular activities, teenagers are likely to be on the roadways much more. Another concern is nighttime driving for teens. Without school in the morning, they may be able to stay up later than usual, resulting in drives home in the dark.
