Conference on Cost Containment in Health Benefits Returns After Successful First Year, Kicks off in Las Vegas This Week

For the second year, U.S.-based Cypress Benefit Administrators is hosting a conference on cost containment in health benefits with experts in the self-funded insurance industry slated to present. The event, Cypress University, returns to Las Vegas after a successful first year and kicks off this week with sessions on everything from prescription drug cost control to innovations in stop loss insurance.

This conference introduces us to some of the most highly-regarded experts in the industry who represent real solutions to the real issues that are tied to escalating benefit costs.

A third party administrator (TPA) with five locations across the U.S., Cypress Benefit Administrators kicks off its second annual Cypress University in Las Vegas this week after the success of its inaugural conference last year.

The event brings employer-clients and brokers together with some of the top minds in the self-funded insurance industry to learn about the latest trends and advances in containing the costs of health benefits. It also introduces new solutions for keeping the expense of employee benefits in check and covers some of the customization options available.

With over 150 participants scheduled to attend, the three-day conference will open with a welcome from Tom Doney, president and CEO of Cypress Benefit Administrators, and move into a presentation on the current state of the self-funded industry. From there, Cypress University will cover topics related to:

  • Prescription drug cost control
