PureWow celebrates the relaunch of its website, PureWow.com, today as it unveils a new look, new reader features, more original content and “How to Wow” videos. The re-design comes during an exciting period of growth for PureWow, a digital publication (email, web and social) that specializes in women’s lifestyle content spanning from fashion and beauty to home décor, recipes and tech. Since its launch in 2010, PureWow has grown to more than 2 million readers across eight email editions.
“Our subscribers love our emails but we’ve heard time and again that they want more, so we’re giving them more photos, more videos, more ways to make their lives easier,” said Mary Kate McGrath, editor-in-chief of PureWow. “The new PureWow.com is a destination for our readers to get great recommendations, hold on to ideas they love and dive into new videos and slideshows for daily inspiration.”
PureWow readers will experience the following new features on PureWow.com:
- My Wow List & Reader Timeline: tools that will help readers remember which articles they’ve read and shared and/or save ideas for later
- “How to Wow” video content: videos will bring to life PureWow’s best tips and tricks and will also showcase expert guests
- More original content: PureWow.com will be home to new slideshow round-ups and editorial series such as the “30 Days of Wow” guide that dedicates an entire month to one timely topic
- More social tools: readers will be able to see what content has been pinned and shared the most and will have ample opportunity to share ideas via their own networks on Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook
PureWow also designed the website to be mobile and tablet optimized, using responsive design technology that allows readers to have a seamless content experience on all mobile devices.
“We want to wow readers no matter how they come to us so it’s important that we are consistent across all platforms – email, web, mobile and social,” said Ryan Harwood, CEO of PureWow. “The enhancements to the website will allow us to further engage with our audience in meaningful ways and provide brand partners the opportunity to do the same.”
