PARKER FORD, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) May 24, 2013

Longstreth is proud to announce the partnership with USA Field Hockey midfielder, Katie Reinprecht. Reinprecht joins USA teammates Lauren Crandall, Shannon Taylor, Claire Laubach, and Melissa Gonzalez.

Longstreth hand selects players for sponsorship that epitomize the image, character, and passion for the game of field hockey. Each of these athletes is considered the best of the best on the hockey field and as role models off the field, they continue to bring their love of the game to younger generations. These women possess attributes that complement Longstreth’s brand and commitment to women’s sports and growing the game of field hockey. Supporting the game at all levels continues to be Longstreth’s mission, and we are thrilled to be able to assist our national team in their international careers.

Reinprecht, a national team member for the past 3 years, recently graduated from Princeton University where she won a Division I National Championship and was named the Division I National Player of the Year. After taking a year off from her studies and collegiate competition, she represented the USA at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and continues to be an integral part of USA field hockey’s midfield.

Katie Reinprecht, a Pennsylvania native, has been familiar with Longstreth all of her life. Born and raised in North Wales, PA she recalls frequenting the retail store with her mother and has always known Longstreth to be the one-stop shop for all things field hockey. Reinprecht stated in a brief interview, “As a young field hockey player, I always grew up knowing that Longstreth was the ultimate go-to destination for all my hockey needs. As I entered the collegiate and international world of competition, Longstreth became an even bigger part of my life and their unwavering support undoubtedly helped to further my career. I am both pleased and excited to officially sign as a Longstreth sponsored player and thank them for all they have done to advance the sport of field hockey in the United States!”
