Attorney Charles Boyk released his new book, I’ve Stood In Your Shoes, which explains the investigation and legal process that comes with a serious child accident. This book goes through Attorney Boyk’s personal experience as a personal injury client when his son was seriously injured in 2010.
The book includes 16 lessons that Attorney Boyk learned while going through the process, and the Charles E. Boyk Law Offices have been releasing these lessons through their blog. Every Tuesday readers will find a blog post highlighting a new lesson from the book. Lesson #8 was released on Tuesday and explains the importance of finding an industry expert to help you prove your argument. In Attorney Boyk’s case, the aquatic and diving board expert they brought in to help was able to shut down the defense’s argument and help prove that the pool owners were in violation of “pool industry standards.”
An expert’s testimony can be critical in determining the outcome of a personal injury case so it is imperative to have a personal injury lawyer that knows when it is necessary to bring an expert in on the case. Attorney Boyk explains his office’s process when contracting experts for his clients and how he used this same process when finding the perfect expert for his son’s personal injury case.
Visit the law office’s blog throughout the upcoming weeks to read the remaining eight lessons. You can also order a free copy of the book, I’ve Stood In Your Shoes, on the law office’s website.
